The web 2.0 tool I will use most in the future will probably be prezi or google presentantion. I said or because it depends on the work and I'm having trouble picking between the two. I like prezi as an individual working on a project, and I like google presentation when it comes down to group work. The reason I picked these two over the rest is because I have a lot of projects in the near future and these tools were straight forward and simple to use. I loved how the slides worked on prezi I thought it was creative to build a slide in a slide, and I loved being able to change the path of my work. Google presentation caught my eye because I could see my partners work and she could see mine. I liked the fact that we could communicate through the project and work on it at the same time. I would have liked wikispaces if I did not have so much trouble with it. I liked the concept of the wiki and I might try again one day but I’m not sure as of now. I liked pintrest more so to watch post than to actually post. I may get on to look around but I cannot say for sure.. Blogging was fun but if I did use it in the future it would not be for me to post it would be for me to give my students topics and read them like weekly journal entries. I did not really use twitter anymore before the class so I do not think I will use it after the class. I’m more into Instagram it's like twitter and pintrest combined to me.
Here is a website with web 2.0 tools that I believe you should check out.
I agree that Google Presentation is great for group projects that need to be completed outside of school, depending on a student's internet access outside of school. Prezi is beneficial as it allows for more creativity. As for blogging, the hardest part for me was deciding what to write about.
ReplyDeleteThats a great idea I didn't even think about the factor of using the bogs as a journal entry. That really is a way for the class to fed off of each other.
ReplyDeleteI love the Google Presentation idea. It gives students equal access to their assignment
